How the process of democratic elections in Colombia was
In politics , elections are a decision process in which the electors choose , with their vote , between a plurality of candidates to whom they will occupy the political positions in representative democracy ; Elections in Colombia are regulated and controlled by the national electoral council , an organization that provides information on elections and their results to elected politicians at the central levels. The president is elected for a period of 4 years . The congress has two chambers : the chamber of representatives that has 163 members , elected by popular election for 4 years. The senate has 102 members , elected by popular election for 4 years.
I think that it was a process clean and fair process because people voted for the person they wanted , even though there were problems and complications , like the problem that when there was going to vote there were not enough cards for all the candidates and because this many of the voters were angry , but the Colombian voters did not look for a way to create a problem, they went thru the solution ; in this the Colombian voters dicided to take a photocopy of the card of the candidate they wanted to vote for and the people in charge of the voting table had to sign the card so that the vote will count; I think that in This things or in this votations doesn't have to be happening does things , they need to be prepared because that's their labor and they are not holding responsible about those think.
After being aware of the results of the great survey , several of the candidates reacted to the results obtained , the candidates are aware that the blank vote that is around 30% and the uncertain vote that is 8% may be lifesavers of those who have not been favored by the figures or the final thrust that could be given by those who point. Gustavo petro , who is practically tied with Fajardo , especially thanked the young people who he attributes his promotion in the poll in wich he said : " we are gaining the presidency of the republic at this time thanks to the support of the youth"
Fajardo also said he was proud of what he had achieved and said that although he has been insulted in some places , he will not respond in the same way. Vargas lleras also felt confident because he has begun to reverse the tendency that was playing against him. Warning that your campaign is just now starting. However , the former Vice President has a harder path considering that , according to the grand survey is among the candidates for wich voters would never vote , with 9% after rodrigo londoño and piedad Córdoba.Duque , Marta lucia and Ordóñez also revived the figures with the enthusiasm. The three candidates will decide in consultation who will be the only candidate, so the winner could go up in a next measurement by inheriting the votes of the two who remain outside that election.
In conclusion I think this elections was more clean and more fair than the other , because of what happened , because of what the people of Colombia have done , because of how they resolve the problem and not Make a bigger one that's why.
